Teaching GF Culinary Workshops is one of my most favorite things to do in the world, because I've been exactly where you are right now, and I want you to realize that you CAN take on the lifelong challenge of daily gluten-free cooking!
Do you run through the daily questions like:
"What am I going to eat, today?" or "I'm sick and tired of smoothies, chicken and veggies" and "Hello...I need more than just a yogurt bowl or salad!" You know what I'm talking about, right?
Even with my classical chef training, having to learn how to cook gluten-free (after years of cooking gluten-loaded food!) was honestly one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in life. I was diagnosed in 2009, and getting into my kitchen with all new ingredients, was frightening, to say the least!. I've been through it. I've spent thousands of dollars, and probably hundreds of hours recreating my favorite gluten-loaded dishes into nourishing gluten-free. I've done all the hard work, and now I'm ready to help you learn how to make your gluten-free life, less complicated.
In my GF Workshops, you'll learn all about gluten-free food preparation while learning to make some incredibly delicious gluten-free, globalicious dishes! Along with the experience previously mentioned (tips, techniques, and recipes), we'll enjoy eating every dish together before we depart to go home.
WHAT TO EXPECT
All of my workshops are a blend of demonstration, plus hands-on, and are designed for Beginner to Intermediate levels, ages 13 and up (accompanied by a paying adult, workshop registrant). You'll learn techniques, food prep, and get copies of the recipes from that day, so you can easily recreate them in your own kitchen. Most recipes take between 30 to 45 minutes tops, and I can't wait for you to see how simple, pure, and fresh, gluten-free cooking can be!
GF Culinary Workshops are most often scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, and are usually held at an Airbnb or commercial kitchen location, depending on the city.
I live with Celiac Disease and I guarantee that ALL workshops are 100% gluten-free and are Celiac-safe. ALL ingredients used are 100% gluten-free. Nuts and nut flours (mostly coconut, almond, and pistachio) will be used. Menus will vary, with some workshops including wild-caught seafood or sustainably-sourced animal protein. Menus are designed to be wholesome and nourishing because our Celiac and Autoimmune Disease stricken bodies are in a constant state of healing. Vegan options will always be included. Peanuts and soy are never used.
Workshops are non-refundable. Credit will be applied towards a future workshop of your choice. However, if on the very rare occasion that I should have to cancel, registrants will be immediately notified, and a full refund will be given.
